Hi all! I will be in Atlanta this weekend but will be setting up a meeting for the week after. I always feel that thinking is important. We sometimes act as though it is somehow heretical to use the brains that God has given us. On the contrary I like for us to be challenged to think. Today I was listening to Moody and they had a financial advisor on the air. A man called in and asked about whether or not he should sell his extra house on a lake or if he should wait considering the market. The advisor's response was that he should pray hard and wait for God to show him a clear answer to the question. As Christians do you feel that such a response is given on occasion as a cop out? Do you feel that the "pray and see" approach can sometimes lead us to inaction when the answers are already obvious? For example, if we pray for help for the homeless and then wait for it to happen, are we missing the point? Let me know what your thoughts are!
